ABOUT THE LIBRARY MEDIA CENTER

The Watertown Middle School Library Media Center operates on a flexible schedule which means that students can come at any time during the day to work on projects by themselves, in a small group, or with an entire class.

After school the LMC is home to the Watertown Middle School Learning Lab. The Learning Lab is a homework club where students can sign up to get extra help with WMS teachers.

 

Hours

* Monday-Thursday 7:30 AM-3:45 PM
* Friday 7:30 AM-2:30 PM


Borrowing Policy

There is no limit for the number of books a student may check out. The borrowing period is three weeks. Print materials must be returned or renewed on or before the due date. Students will not be charged for overdue materials but will be expected tp pay for lost or damaged materials. If materials are not returned by the end of the school year, final report cards and/or schedules may be held.

 

Computers & Production Equipment

LMC computer equipment are to be used for school work only. Students are expected to follow the District's rules for Acceptible Use pertaining to computer equipment.

 

Library Media Center Ethics

Students are expected to demonstrate responsible and respectful behavior while in the Library Media Center. This means being considerate to others and also..... being kind and considerate to LMC materials and furnishings.
