som Mathematics

Matthew Tardiff is one of the most enthusiastic mathematics students to pass through Watertown High School in recent years. He earned one of the highest averages during the second term among his extremely talented classmates in the Advanced Placement Statistics class. Matt is naturally inquisitive and passionate about mathematics, with a genuine eagerness to master the most complicated of topics, solve the most challenging of problems and go above and beyond the material covered in class. Matt has a work ethic second to none, and has already begun working on topics for his end-of-the year statistics project, months before this project has even been assigned. A favorite among his fellow students for his additions of both mathematical insight and comic relief in his math class, he has been an invaluable member of this year's Advanced Placement Statistics class. Matt is considering a career as a mathematics teacher, and his sharp wit along with his warm and friendly demeanor and a natural ability and desire to both teach and learn, all point to the beginning of a successful path toward a life as a brilliant and gifted educator.
