The Learning Commons at Watertown High School is an automated, networked library media center with a curriculum based collection of print and non-print materials.  Home access to numerous online reference books and databases including newspapers, periodicals, and encyclopedias provides 24/7 service to students and staff. General collection books circulate for two weeks.  Current periodicals and reference books do not circulate.

The WHS Learning Commons is a flexible space in which areas for individual study and group collaboration are provided.

Twelve networked computers are available for student and staff use. In addition there are 24 laptops which can be used in the Learning Commons or taken to classrooms.  Digital cameras and camcorders are also available for check-out.

The adjacent computer lab houses twenty-five networked computers, audiovisual equipment, scanners, and presentation equipment.
