FACILITATED PLAY GROUPS

Come join in a fun-filled hour with free play, circle time with songs and movement, craft activity, snack time and lots of fun!!! Each program is developmentally age-appropriate. This is free, but registration is requested. Please call 617-926-1661 for more information. This is a great way to socialize with other parents and children.

DROP-IN PLAYTIME

The Family Center has scheduled hours during which you are invited to come in with your child(ren) to play with our toys, read our books and spend time with other parents and their young children. Call 617-926-1661 for the current drop-in schedule.

FUN FAMILY EVENTS

We often have special presentations and activities, please call 617-926-1661 for details on special happenings such as:

  • Music Fridays ~ Mostly music with professional performers. Drop in with other tots and parents and sing along Fridays 9:30 - 10:00 AM.
  • Annual Family Picnic. Games, music, crafts, face painting and more.
  • Halloween Happenings is a SAFE ALTERNATIVE for young children to trick-or-treating. It's a fun-filled afternoon with costumes, masks, crafts, games, treats, and songs at a special location.
  • Winter Fun Fest ~ Celebrate the days of winter with family concerts, crafts, song, and goodies.
  • Dr. Seuss' Birthday ~ A Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast co-hosted by Watertown Family Network and the Watertown Library.
  • Mothers' Day Tea ~ Youngsters are invited to bring someone they love to a morning of refreshment and keepsake crafts.
  • Fathers' Day Special celebrates Dads and their special role.
  • Spring Fling celebrates the glorious arrival of springtime with fun, games and refreshments.
