Watertown Adult and Community Education continues to present a wide range of exciting courses for adults. This year we are pleased to be offering 17 new courses including: evenings filled with delicious food and wine, technology, art and free classes. We would also like to thank Watertown Savings Bank for their sponsorship this year. Courses fill quickly, so register early.
There are 2 ways to register: Register by mail Register Early. Just fill out the registration form, make out a check payable to Town of Watertown and send it to Watertown Community Education, Adult Programs, 50 Columbia St., Watertown, MA 02472. Drop off your registration at Watertown High School, 50 Columbia Street, and Watertown.

Elementary Before School Programs
For more information call 923-7653. The Before School Program is available at the Cunniff, Hosmer and Lowell Schools and runs from 7:15AM to 8:20AM. It provides quiet activities, games and crafts. Homework time is provided. Emergency coverage is also available. A fee is charged.
Courses for Kids
Courses for Kids is an after school enrichment program at the elementary schools that provides classes such as woodworking, nature detectives, art, mad science, chess, drama, karate and Irish dancing. For more information contact Rita Foglia, Program Coordinator @ (617) 926-7764
Extended Day Program
The Extended Day Program provides after school care for children Grades Pre-K through Grade 5 until 6PM daily. In addition, the Program offers a safe and enriching place during conference days, early release days, full day February and April Vacations and 10 weeks during the summer. The Program also offers an emergency drop off service at both Before and Extended Day, for parent/guardians who may have a commitment or an urgent matter to attend to on an occasional basis.
Three extended day programs operate for the convenience of Watertown families:
- The Hosmer Extended Day Program is part of the Community Education Program and is open to Hosmer School students, PreK-5, during the school year. Full day tuition based vacation programs are available during February and April as well as during the summer. A monthly fee is charged and an emergency drop in service is also available. For additional information, contact Ms. Beth Sahakian, Director, at 617 923-7653 or Ms. Chris Hart, On-Site Coordinator, at 617 926-0457.
- The Lowell Extended Day Program is part of the Community Education Program and is open to Lowell School students, PreK-5, during the school year. Full day tuition based vacation programs are available during February and April as well as during the summer. A monthly fee is charged and an emergency drop in service is also available. - The Cunniff Extended Day Program is available at the Cunniff School for children in Grades PreK-5 during the school year. The program is curriculum based and provides enrichment as well as academic skills. For more information call James Tresner at 617 926-7726.
