Mission Statement:
The physical education and health program provides a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on the mental, physical and social well being of students. Physical education activities offered to students challenge interpersonal, social and physical skills at all levels. Students who will be successful in learning life-long skills that promotes good health, physical fitness and will being.
Physical education and health is taught by qualified teaching staff who are certified to teach physical education and health. Staff participate in professional development opportunities in order to stay abreast of current research and best practices.
The PE/Health Staff are knowledgeable and competent in using a variety of teaching methods and instructional strategies to enhance student achievement.
