MissionThe Educational Technology Department helps students and teachers effectively use the appropriate tools to facilitate learning that encourages students to collaborate, communicate, think critically and creatively. Students will learn to effectively use valid information to create ideas, projects and inform their own crictal thinking abilities.
Educational Technology Program Goals
- promote and effectively use technology to improve instruction and professional productivity in all subjects
- enhance and develop 21st Century skills for students, teachers, and administrators
- combine hands on activities with creative thinking, problem solving, communication, and cooperative learning
- support students' growth as frequent, fluent, and discerning readers of a range of information resources and literary genres
- educate students to access, locate, evaluate, and use a variety of resources to support, deepen and enrich learning in all subjects
