Think Math!

The Watertown School District is using the "Think Math!" program in grades K - 5.

This program:

• promotes students' curiosity
• develops problem solving skills
• provides focused practice
• supports a variety of learning styles
• develops conceptual understanding
• encourages multiple approaches to topics
• builds computational fluency
• connects reasoning skills and problem solving

FASTT Math

The Watertown Elementary Schools are using FASTT Math in Grades 2 - 5. FASTT Math is a computerized software program that supports practice in learning basic math facts.

This program:

• provides individualized instruction based on a student placement assessment
• presents new information systematically
• limits student response time to encourage retrieval from memory
• uses engaging games for improving speed and accuracy
• provides customized worksheets
