The Teaching & Learning Council, comprised of Curriculum Coordinators, plans and implements curriculum and instruction initiatives.Curriculum initiatives currently underway during the 2010-2011 school year include, for examples: various curriculum & instruction task forces and leadership councils, K-12 curriculum and technology integration, district and school website improvement, teacher classroom website improvement, teacher and administrator supervision & evaluation redesign, K-5 Think Math implementation, grades 6-8 Impact Math implementation, prek-3 reading program improvment, grades 3-5 reading and writing program improvement, grades 4-8 science program review, teaching American History professional development, and various other curricula, school, and professional development improvement projects. We are also continuing several special projects that include: Interactive Journalismand Community Media, Robotics, Virtual High School, and Engineering by Design.
